Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose IAS, senior civil servant, housing expert and innovator, was empanelled Secretary to Govt. of India, Additional Chief Secretary and University Vice Chancellor. He is Chairman of the Govt. of India Public Sector Undertakings, Central Warehousing Corporation & Central Railside Warehouse Company Ltd. A prolific writer and columnist, Dr. Bose has published 20 books in English and Malayalam including novels, short stories, poems and essays. Some of his books have become best sellers. He is the founder of many innovative movements and institutions in the field of affordable housing, good governance, science and technology. The pioneering institutions set up by him such as Nirmithi Kendra (Building Centre), District Tourism Council and Habitat Alliance have been replicated at the national and global level.
